Bloomington, IL. - On Thursday, October 12th, the Bloomington Edge will be hosting a press conference at Tony Roma's at 7 p.m. to announce the resigning of some of their top players from the 2017 season.
Among those expected to sign include, Quarterback Caleb Holbrook, Linebackers Dontae McCoy and Brad Blumenshine, Wide Receiver Marcus Lewis, and Defensive Back Mitch Moore. The Edge is thrilled to continue building their 2018 roster and these key returners will be crucial for a third consecutive playoff appearance.
Nick Ruud, Head Coach of the Edge, stated "We are really working to promote a family atmosphere in this organization, a band of brothers, working towards the same goal. Part of that is having a solid core of players who know the expectations of this organization and have the chemistry to build that foundation upon. This is that group, I am excited to have all these guys back on board, they are not only great players and teammates but they are exactly the type of outstanding people we want in this organization."
The press conference is open to the public, and Edge fans and season ticket holders are encouraged to attend. There will be more joint events with Tony Roma's and the Chateau Hotel and Conference Center in the future.
