Orlando Predators News Release

The Orlando Predators have agreed to terms with free agent defensive lineman Zach Anderson, the franchise announced via Tuesday's transactions.

Anderson (6-3, 300, Northern Michigan) spent the past three seasons in the Canadian Football League, where he racked up 81 tackles and 10 sacks for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He also participated in 2016 training camp with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats after signing with the team this past May.

Anderson was a three-time All-GLIAC selection during his college career at Northern Michigan. He earned first-team all-conference accolades as a senior in 2012 after delivering 71 total tackles with one sack, 10 tackles for loss and an interception. Upon graduation, he participated in rookie minicamp with the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent in 2013.

A native of Michigan, Zach is the older brother of current Predators offensive lineman Chad Anderson.

Following a bye week, the No.1-seeded Predators return to the field this Saturday, July 9 when they travel to take on the Portland Steel (1-11). The game can be viewed live on ESPN3.com or the WatchESPN App with kickoff scheduled for 10:00 p.m. ET.
