Outlaws Launch New Program

September 3, 2010 - Indoor Football League (IFL)
Billings Outlaws News Release

The Billings Outlaws are pleased to announce a new partnership that will help area businesses grow in a challenging economy.

The Outlaws have retained the services of Business Development Specialist, Tom Smith, to increase the exposure businesses receive through their affiliation with the most successful indoor football franchise in the history of the Indoor Football League.

Smith has a proven track record in the field of internet marketing and has successfully leveraged relationships with internet giants like Google and Yahoo to develop several companies over the past 10 years.

Smith's success with a Marks Radio Group effort to grow businesses in eastern Montana recently caught the attention of the Outlaws ownership group. Outlaws Co-Owner and General Manager, Adam Steadman, says that Smith is a welcomed addition to the Outlaws front office. "Tom is a very passionate person and we are excited to task such a highly motivated individual with the goal of maximizing our corporate partners' investment with us. His internet marketing concepts are particularly impressive."

Smith states that he will also be focusing on bringing more fans to Billings from outlying cities. "Billings is home to the most successful, professional sports franchise Montana has ever seen, but the team typically only draws a few hundred people from outside the city for their home games. I believe that we can double the average attendance at Outlaws games by extending opportunities to cities outside of Billings as well. More people in the stands means more money for the Billings community."

The new relationship between Smith and the Outlaws comes in part from an already impressive web component for the franchise. "Our internet presence is substantial." added Steadman. "Thousands of people visit the Outlaws website and Facebook pages every week. Tom will be rolling out some exciting new products that will help our business partners benefit from those impressions."

"We will literally have something for everyone." Says Smith. "Even small businesses will be able to benefit from this new internet marketing plan. The Outlaws are a three time champion football team with a significant national footprint. We want to capitalize on that exposure and use it to help grow the Billings economy."
