
NJIR.Net signs deal with the New Jersey Xtreme to handle 2005 Season Broadcasts

West Caldwell, NJ, March 15, 2005 - New Jersey Internet Radio has signed a one year agreement with the New Jersey Xtreme of the National Indoor Football League to broadcast all seven home games for the 2005 Season.
NJIR, helmed by 25 year New York Radio and TV Personality Joe Nolan, will broadcast the games via their website NJIR.net. "We are so excited to be partnered up with the Xtreme," said Nolan, "they are bringing true family sports entertainment to the Meadowlands at an affordable price. NJIR.net is a grassroots company bringing the feel of the old New Jersey suburban radio stations back to the air utilizing today's technology. It just seemed like a perfect fit for us." Kevin Sisson, owner of the team said, "It just made sense, no one has more indoor football broadcast experience in the tri-state area than Joe Nolan."
Fans will be able to access the games via the team's website njxtreme.com, as well as NJIR.net. Games will also be archived so fans can listen to the broadcast whenever they like. The games will be handled by Joe Nolan, who will call the play by play, New York Traffic and Sports Reporter Butch Seltzer will be on hand to handle color commentary and former High School Football Coach and host of NJIR's Original New Jersey High School Sports Round Up Show, Marty Yudichek, will be in the booth giving a coach's spin on the game. Reporting from the sidelines will be New York and New Jersey Traffic and Sports Reporter Debbie DuHaime.
Information about the NJIR.net and Xtreme relationship will be announced at a press conference on Tuesday, March 15, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Meadowlands Sheraton. Information about the press conference can be found at www.njxtreme.com.
Fans are encouraged to visit NJIR.net for broadcast dates and times. New Jersey Internet Radio based in West Caldwell, NJ broadcasts High School sports as well as the 2002 Atlantic League Champion Newark Bears via their website njir.net.
The National Indoor Football League is entering its fifth season and spans nationally from New Jersey to the state of Washington. The New Jersey Xtreme will begin their 2005 season with their opening night set for Saturday, March 19th against the Miami Morays.
