
NBL Canada Reinstates Tony Bennett & Clifford Clinkscales

In an effort to be completely transparent & open on all things, NBL Commissioner David Magley has issued the following statement with regards to the reinstatement of players from the incident.
"We looked at each person's involvement & dealt with it accordingly. Tony Bennett was involved in the altercation during the day & a chair was used as part of the conflict. As an isolated situation he received a 2 game suspension & a $500 fine.
Clifford Clinkscales was part of the actual walk out & forfeit of the game. For that he received a $5,000 fine.
Both individuals applied for reinstatement to the league & based on an unanimous vote of the board of Governors were granted reinstatement.
All other disciplinary actions regarding that unfortunate day will stand as they were previously stated."
