
Mississippi MudCats Sign Turner for 2008 Season

(Tupelo, MS) - The Mississippi MudCats of the American Indoor Football Association announced that Fullback / Linebacker and Arkansas native Keith Turner has signed with the team for the upcoming 2008 season.
Turner (6'4"-260) played collegiate football at the University of Arkansas. After a successful college career he had stints with the Tennessee Valley Vipers of AF2
and the Odessa Roughnecks of the IFL where he was a key part of the championship team in 2006. During that season Keith had 12 rushing touchdowns, as well as one
on special teams. Defensively, Keith had 6 sacks and 3 interceptions along with numerous batted passes from his Mac linebacker spot.
"Keith is a very talented player who will come in and be an immediate impact on this team both on and off the field," said Defensive Coordinator Gary Patterson. "I have seen this kid perform at a high level and I am looking forward to seeing him in the green and gold."
