
Lightning Drop Game Three to Express

(London, Ontario) - Tonight, in front of 3,536 spectators at Budweiser Gardens, the London Lightning lost Game Three of their second-round series to the Windsor Express by a score of 93-81.The best-of-seven series now stand at two games to one in favor of the Lightning.
Tony Bennett led the Lightning with 22 points and five assists.
"This is a game of runs and we never really got our run tonight," said Garrett Williamson. "When we needed to get a stop, their guys stepped up and made some big shots instead."
Williamson added 15 points for the Lightning while Elvin Mims registered another double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds.
Game Four of the series will be played on Sunday, March 23 at Budweiser Gardens. Tip-off is at 2pm.
The London Lightning is asking spectators to wear yellow and to bring a non-perishable food donation for the London Food Bank.
