
Lee, Hawgs defense more than enough in 52-23 victory

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Brad Lee scored four touchdowns and the Daytona Beach Hawgs defense registered five interceptions on the Kissimmee Kreatures in a 52-23 National Indoor Football League victory before 2,001 Monday night at TUI Business Machines Field at theOcean Center.
Lee, who also added a two-point conversion, registered his fourth four touchdown night of the season as the Hawgs (7-3) easily won their home finale and downed the Kreatures (2-9) for the third time this season.
Kissimmee led 9-6 on a James Panui 3-yard run with 3:20 remaining in the first quarter,but the Hawgs scored the next 33 points to take control.
Oscar Davenport finished with 164 yards and touchdown passes to Robert Bailey and Joe Giddens. Bobby Bass had a 35-yard interception return, and backup Isaac Hall scored on a 1-yard run.
Daytona Beach finishes its inaugural season with a four-game road trip beginning Friday in Everett, Wash.
