Kings Recall Georgios Papagiannis from Reno Bighorns

RENO, NV ---- The Sacramento Kings have recalled rookie center Georgios Papagiannis from the Reno Bighorns of the NBA D-League, it was announced today by Vice President of Basketball Operations and General Manager Vlade Divac.

In three games for the Bighorns, Papagiannis averaged 10.3 points (.467 FG%, .750 FT%), 6.7 rebounds and 2.34 blocks in 29.2 minutes per game. The 7-2 center registered 15 points on 6-of-13 from the field to accompany four rebounds and two blocks against the Rio Grande Valley Vipers on Nov. 3. In his most recent contest last night, Papagiannis logged eight points (4-10 FG), nine rebounds, two steals and three blocks in 30 minutes at the Austin Spurs.

The Bighorns will host the Oklahoma City Blue for their 2016-17 Home Opener on Saturday, Nov. 19 at 7 p.m. Tickets for the game will begin at $12. Fans can visit renobighorns.com to purchase tickets or call the Bighorns front office at 775-853-8220.
