Grand Rapids, Mich.-The Grand Rapids Drive, the official NBA Development League Affiliate of the Detroit Pistons, announced July 26 that the team will hold a local player tryout for the upcoming 2016-17 season at the Courthouse Athletic Center of Grand Rapids. Drive's newly appointed Head Coach, Rex Walters, will be available to the media prior to the start of the local tryout .

Media interested in attending - must RSVP to Sarah Jbara by emailing spj@nbagrandrapids.com to set up an interview window of time starting at 8:30 am. Tryouts will begin promptly at 9:00 am.
