
Grand Rapids Drive Hosts Traveling Drive Academy Presented by Meijer

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - The Grand Rapids Drive, the NBA Development League Affiliate of the Detroit Pistons, will team up this summer with Meijer to host the Drive Academy Basketball Camp across West Michigan, with three separate camps taking place in Holland, Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo.
The goal of the traveling basketball camp is to teach the basic fundamentals of basketball as well as individual improvements while providing a safe, fun and exciting environment and experience for boys and girls ages 8-14. Each camp will feature different basketball skill stations every day.
The Holland camp will take place at the Civic Recreational Center on July 18 - 21, from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm (noon) and 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm. The Grand Rapids camp will be at the Courthouse (Byron Center) on July 25 - 28, from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm (noon). The Kalamazoo camp will be held at the Courthouse (Portage) on August 1 - 4, from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm.
Registration is $100, and each camper will receive a Drive Basketball Academy t-shirt, Drive swag bag and two (2) tickets to a game for the upcoming 2016-17 season.
