Bloomington, Ill. - The Bloomington Edge, Illinois' only professional indoor football team, in conjunction with Busey Bank, is proud to introduce the Golden Football Good Citizenship Program. The Edge and Busey Bank would like to invite all Blooming-Normal area law enforcement departments to join this program. Participating departments will distribute miniature Golden Footballs to members of our community 12 and under who they recognize for outstanding citizenship. The Golden Football can then be redeemed for a complimentary pass to the Edge game on Saturday, May 20th when they take on the Salina Liberty.
In addition to rewarding great citizenship, the Golden Football Program also gives police officers and fire fighters the opportunity to interact with local youth. When positive relationships are created between kids and law enforcement it follows into adulthood.
