GEORGIA FIREBIRDS SIGN WR JOHN HARRISALBANY, GA - The Georgia Firebirds on Saturday signed wide receiver John Harris, it was announced.Harris (6-1, 190 pounds) is a tenth year player. His arena football career started with the South Georgia Wildcats.For his career, Harris has won a state championship with the Americus Panthers (GHSA), two titles with the Albany Panthers (PIFL and SIFL), as well as two additional rings with the Columbus Lions (AIF and PIFL).A former standout at North Mississippi Community College, Harris went on to break several of the school's passing records. He graduated from Americus High School in Americus, Ga. and was born on July 9, 1982.
