AUBURN HILLS, Mich. - The Detroit Pistons announced today that the team has recalled forward Henry Ellenson and guard Michael Gbinije from the team's NBA Development League (D-League) affiliate, the Grand Rapids Drive.
Ellenson has appeared in six games with the Pistons this season averaging 0.8 points and 1.0 rebounds in 3.0 minutes per game. He was selected with the 18th overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft. Ellenson is averaging 17.4 points, 9.8 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.0 steals, 1.2 blocks and 34.4 minutes in five games with the Drive.
Gbinije has appeared in six games with the Pistons this season averaging 0.7 points in 3.5 minutes per game. He was selected with the 49th overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft. Gbinije is averaging 13.2 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.8 steals and 35.2 minutes in five games with the Drive.
