March 7, 2006 - National Indoor Football League (NIFL)
Rapid City Flying Aces News Release
Rapid City, SD - The Rapid City Flying Aces & Full Throttle Saloon have partnered to hold a Tailgate Party for corporate sponsors, members of the media, and fans who purchase a ticket to their first game on Saturday, March 11. The tailgate party will consist of a concert put on by Jackal this Friday, March 10 at Venue 8 starting at 7p.m. The admission to the concert is free with the purchase of a game ticket which starts as low as $11. Flying Aces Head Coach Dan Maciejczak, 2006 Flying Aces Players, the Bombshells Dance Team Members, and the Flying Aces Staff will be at the event.
Jackyl is a band the Black Hills area is familiar with, as they rock Full Throttle Saloon during the Sturgis Rally every summer. Their self-titled debut album went platinum and featured many rock radio hits, most notably, "The Lumberjack," during which vocalist Jesse James Dupree performs a chain-saw solo. Dupree's chain-saw act has become one of Jackyl's many trademarks.
The Flying Aces, an expansion team in the National Indoor Football League, will play their home opener on March 11 against the Big Sky Thunder at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center with a 7:05 p.m. kick-off. Season tickets purchased through the Flying Aces office are available to be picked up at the Civic Center Box Office.
For more information on the Kickoff Party or to purchase season tickets please contact the Flying Aces office at (605) 716-ACES.
