TAMPA, Fla. - The Florida Fire Frogs clubbed two solo home runs, but fell to the Tampa Tarpons, 4-2, on Saturday night at George M. Steinbrenner field to wrap up the three-game series. The loss hands the Fire Frogs their seventh series loss in 11 chances in 2018, and finishes the six-game road trip with a 3-3 mark.
Ian Anderson retired the first five men he faced before running into a two-out rally in the second inning. Diego Castillo singled on a two-strike pitch, and came around to score on Tim Lynch's RBI double to the wall in right to put Florida (14-22) behind 1-0. Angel Aguilar followed with an RBI knock to left to put the Fire Frogs behind by two runs.
Anderson finished the night with seven strikeouts in his five innings of work during the no-decision, but issued a season-high, four walks, while giving up four hits. Florida's starting pitching walked 14 batters in 11.2 innings during the three game series.
The visitors got a run back in the fifth on Braxton Davidson's (1x2, R, HR, RBI, BB) solo shot to right for his third home run of the season. The Atlanta Braves High-A affiliate knotted the game at two apiece in the sixth when Cristian Pache (0x4, R) scored from third on a wild pitch to Brett Cumebrland (0x4).

The lefty hit Aguilar with two outs to put a man on first, leading to Keith Skinner's RBI double off the wall in right. Estevan Florial extended his on-base streak to 30 games with an RBI double to left to put Florida in it's second two-run hole of the night.
Taylor Murphy (1x4, R, HR, RBI) welcomed Adonis Rosa (SV, 1) to the game with a solo home run to right to lead off the seventh, but the Fire Frogs could not scratch across another run through the rest of the contest against the right-handed reliever.
Albert Abreu (1-0) earned his first win of the season for the Tarpons, allowing two runs on one hit, two walks and seven strikeouts through six frames in the quality start.
