Farrah Named Director of Football Operations for Cougars

CANTON, OH - The Canton Cougars of the Ultimate Indoor Football League are pleased to announce the hiring of Paul Farrah as Director of Football Operations effective immediately.

Farrah is no stranger to football in Stark County. For ten years he was Head Coach at Louisville High Schools where he registered a record of 94 wins and 26 loses, was named Repository Coach of the Decade, recorded 23 playoff victories, had four 10-0 season, 2 associated press Division 2 poll titles, and an appearance in the 2007 state finals.

Farrah will oversee all aspects of football operations. After the Cougars final game this Saturday he will meet with the current coaching staff, players, and executive management of the team. He is responsible for putting a winning team together for the 2012 season, that will contend for the UIFL Championship.

The Canton Cougars finish the inaugural UIFL season this Saturday night May 28th at the Canton Civic Center where they host the Johnstown Generals. Doors open at 6:30pm and kickoff is at 7:30pm, tickets start at $7.00. The Cougars have a chance to spoil Johnstown's playoff hopes!
