Erie BayHawks News Release
Erie, Pennsylvania - The Erie BayHawks, NBA Development League affiliate of the Orlando Magic, will host a Building Bridges Through Basketball program prior to Thursday's, December 1, game against the Maine Red Claws. As part of the NBA's new initiative, the BayHawks will play host to youth from the Booker T. Washington Center along with current and former law enforcement officials. Both groups will participate in a basketball game on the BayHawks court, followed by an open discussion and interaction with BayHawks players. The event is in coordination with the NBA's effort to help build stronger relationships between law enforcement and youth.
All members of the media are welcome to attend. President Matt Bresee, law enforcement officials, and leaders of the Booker T. Washington Center will be available for interviews.
