Empire Announces 2017 Junior Dance Camp

SPOKANE, Washington - The Spokane Empire is excited to announce the 2017 Empire Junior Dance Camp with the Empire Dance Team on Saturday, April 29 from 10:30-3:00 p.m. at the Spokane Central YMCA located at 930 North Monroe Spokane, WA 99201. Participants will have the opportunity to perform during halftime of the Empire home game on Sunday, April 30 at Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena.
Participants ages 4-12 may register online at Empire.Configio.com. The cost to attend the camp is $50.00. Online registration will begin Monday, April 3 and will be available until Thursday, April 27. Registration will also be available on the day of the camp at the YMCA.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Learn a dance routine choreographed by Empire Dance Team Directors Maggie Kazemba and Casandra Maher
- Meet, interact with, and be instructed by the Empire Dance Team members
- Perform their routine live at during halftime of the Empire's home game Sunday, April 30 at Spokane Arena (kickoff at 4:00 p.m.)
In addition, each participant will receive:
- Two (2) tickets to the game (one for the camp participant and one for an accompanying adult)
- An Empire Junior Dancer T-Shirt
- Game Night Promotional Item (Dance Team Poster)
- A private autograph session with the Empire Dance Team
- Pizza
- Cupcakes
Additional information:
- Age Ranges: 4-12
- Cost: $50.00 per participant
- Tickets: One of the two (2) tickets in the package will be used by the Junior Dancer
- Practice Attire: Wear comfortable top and shorts or jazz pants - dance or gym shoes
- Game Attire: Junior Dancer T-shirt, black bottoms (shorts, pants, etc.) - dance or gym shoes
- Food: The Empire will provide water during the camp and pizza for lunch. Parents are encouraged to bring snacks
- Transportation: Parents must arrange transportation for their children to the Spokane Central YMCA located at 930 North Monroe Spokane, WA 99201, as well as to the Spokane Arena on Sunday.
