
Cougars Hire David Lopez as the New Sales and Marketing Director

Canton- The Canton Cougars have filled a much needed void in there marketing division with the hiring of David Lopez as the new Director of Sales and Marketing. Lopez a Cleveland, Ohio native and U.S. Army veteran is no stranger when it comes to marketing and branding. Having over 15 years marketing and business experience, Lopez is currently the Marketing Leader for Falcon Holdings, which owns over 150 franchise restaraunts across the United States. He is also the founder of Xtreme Tea, a liquid tea company that was served in many restaurants (including Rally's), stadiums and catering facilities across the country.
Owner and CEO of the Cougars Tim Clark stated bringing David on board was a positive step towards rebuilding after a losing season. Cougars went 1-13 last season. "David has a passion for sports and a passion for marketing, when the two are put together along with his track record and experience, I do not see how we can go wrong," Clark also stated.
The Canton Cougars have made many changes over the last two months since Clark purchased the team, to include hiring Paul Farrah as the Head Coach, Moe Daniska Defensive Coordinator, Troy Davis Director of Community Relations and Player Development, and also retained former Head Coach Rashaun Hall as an Assistant Coach and Director of Player Personnel.
