
Commandos' Canady Earns UIFL Honor

FT. MYERS, FL - Cincinnati linebacker Antwone Canady became the second defensive Commandos player to earn honors from the UIFL.
Canady, a linebacker in his first game, was named All-Star PR Cincinnati Defensive Player of the Week after helping the Commandos to its third victory of the season. He recorded 10 tackles, four tackles for loss, one sack, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery for touchdown.
Linebacker Santino Turnbow earned the honor after Cincinnati's victory over Eastern Kentucky.
The Cincinnati Commandos are the longest-tenured professional indoor football team in the city of Cincinnati. All seven home games are played at the historic Cincinnati Gardens.
