Cape Fear Heroes Break Ground on Practice Field

Cape Fear Heroes News Release
On Thursday December 3, the Cape Fear Heroes began clearing ground for its outdoor auxiliary athletic field. The field will be located behind the Heroes ten thousand square foot team office complex on Mann Street and will help the team have an extra area to practice and enhance the conditioning skills of its players it will also give us close access to our team offices.
The Heroes will still be utilizing practice time inside on their game field at the Crown Complex but having an outdoor field will allow an alternate site when the Crown is holding other events. In addition the Heroes will be utilizing the field for joint ventures with area youth events.
We feel this is a great opportunity to enhance our professional player's skills and to provide them some of the best facilities available in indoor football.
