Bighorns to Host Education Day

RENO, Nev. ---- The Reno Bighorns will host their annual Education Day Game on Wednesday, Mar. 1 at 11 a.m. at the Reno Events Center (400 N. Center St. Reno, NV 89501).

The goal of the education game is to allow local students to attend a game with their classmates, teachers, and administrators in a fun and exciting environment with an educational platform tied-in.

Local businesses are encouraged to sponsor students for the Wednesday matinee match-up with a $5 ticket special. Sponsors who offer a minimum investment of $100 that will provide 20 students with tickets. The Bighorns will match the number of tickets from each company sponsor.

Students attending the game will receive an education day packet that includes math and writing activities as well as health and wellness tips.
