RENO, NV---- The Reno Bighorns completed a trade today with the Raptors 905, with the Bighorns acquiring the Returning Player Rights to Ronald Roberts, Grand Rapids' 2016 2nd round pick (#6 in the 2nd round), and Northern Arizona's 2016 3rd round pick (#8 in the 3rd round) in exchange for the Returning Player Rights to Brady Heslip and Reno's own 2016 2nd round pick (#21 in the 2nd round).
Roberts (6'8", 219lbs) played the 2015-16 season with the 905 where he tallied averages of 18.1 points (.617 FG%, .719 FT%), 12.1 rebounds and 33.2 minutes per game in 24 contests.
The former Hawks standout averaged 10.7 points, 6.6 rebounds in four seasons with St. Joseph's.
The Reno Bighorns open the 2016-17 season on the road against the Rio Grande Valley Vipers on Sunday, Nov. 13 before playing their first regular season home game on Saturday, Nov. 19 against the Oklahoma City Blue.
