
BayHawks Drop to Red Claws Hot Shooting

Erie, PA (December 1) - The Erie BayHawks (1-6) fell to the Maine Red Claws (6-2) 101-91 tonight at Erie Insurance Arena after returning home from a five-game road trip.
After a back and forth first quarter that saw eight lead changes, the Red Claws jumped out to a 56-64 lead at half behind a 17-4 run in the second quarter. Erie fell behind by as many as 13 in the second half but closed the gap to six when Stephen Zimmemran hit a floater with 2:31 to play. Maine answered with six straight points including a dunk from Asauhn Dixon-Tatum.
In his first game on assignment from the Orlando Magic, Stephen Zimmerman posted 20 points and 16 rebounds. TJ Price added 20 points, three rebounds, and five assists on seven-of-18 shooting from the floor. Gabe York, in his first start for the BayHawks, had 18 points and five assists on seven-of-13 shooting. Ramon Galloway had 16 points, five assists, and three rebounds.
All five of Maine's starters posted double-digit point totals. Marcus George-Hunt had a team-high of 19 points while grabbing seven rebounds. Jalen Jones and Dixon-Tatum each added 18 points.
The BayHawks are off until Saturday when they take on the take on the Westchester Knicks for Cancer Awareness Night presented by the Regional Cancer Center. The BayHawks will take the court in specialty designed jerseys to be auctioned. All proceeds will benefit the Regional Cancer Center and American Cancer Society.
