BayHawks Complete Coaching Staff for Upcoming Season

Erie, Pennsylvania - The Erie BayHawks, in partnership with the Orlando Magic, today announced additions to head coach Bill Peterson's staff with the hiring of assistant coaches Norman Richardson and Nelson Terroba, and basketball operations coordinator Adetunji Adedipe.

Peterson returns to the BayHawks for his third season and will be joined by two new assistant coaches after former assistant Nate Babcok left to become video coordinator for the Brooklyn Nets and Anthony Goldwire elected to not return to coach this season.

Richardson joins the BayHawks from Findley Prep School in Henderson, Nevada where he served as skills development coach in addition to his role as the Agassi Prep High School assistant coach in Las Vegas. Prior to his time in Nevada, Richardson held the head coaching position of TSV/Bietigheim of Germany from 2012-14. While at the helm, Richardson led the team to a third place finish in the Oberliga in 2014 and was recognized as a runner-up for the German Oberliga Coach of the Year in 2014. Richardson had brief stints playing with the Indiana Pacers and Chicago Bulls in the 2001-02 season after his four-year career with Hofstra University. He played eight years overseas with five different teams and briefly played in the NBA Development League, with the North Charleston Lowgators in 2003 and Fayetteville Patriots in 2006.

Terroba comes to the BayHawks from the Premier Athletic Complex in Leander, Texas where he served as the facility and basketball director since 2012. He spent the year prior with the Bakersfield Jam of the NBA Development League as the video coordinator. Terroba is the founder of Hoops 101 Basketball, a program which teaches basketball skills to over 300 athletes annually. Terroba began his coaching career at the University of Texas when he held the positions of head student manager and special assistant to the head coach.

Adedipe rejoins the BayHawks staff after holding an internship position in the 2013-14 season while Erie was affiliated with the New York Knicks. Prior to his internship with the BayHawks, Adedipe walked-on to the Ohio Bobcats basketball team and played in 16 games during the 2009-10 season. In this years following his internship, he has held positions as an NBA player development coach with IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, basketball operations intern with the Philadelphia 76ers, and most recently as a basketball operations associate with the Orlando Magic.

Rounding out Peterson's staff are Tanner Massey who will now work as a coach's associate after serving as an intern the previous two seasons, and Mark Mahoney, ATC returns as the team's athletic trainer.

The BayHawks begin the season on November 12 when they take on the Windy City Bulls at Erie Insurance Arena. Tickets are available at eriebayhawks.com or by calling 814-790-5600.
