Baltimore Blackbirds News Release
As the 2007 AIFA season approaches, the Baltimore Blackbirds are narrowing their search for the team's head coach. "I have been very pleased with the candidates that we have found, and those that have approached us," stated Blackbirds General Manager, John Wolfe.
"We have compiled a list of candidates that includes coaches with experience at all levels of football including NCAA Division 1, NFL, and all levels of indoor football. It is truly a stellar group of coaches, which will make our decision a tough one. Although we know the season will be upon us soon, we also are taking careful consideration in selecting the Blackbirds' Head Coach for 2007," explained Wolfe.
The Blackbirds hope to announce their head coach within the next two weeks. The team's final tryout will be January 27th and they will open camp on February 2nd.
