Delaware's Sean Kilpatrick Named NBA Development League Performer of the Week

November 30, 2015 - NBA G League (G League) News Release

NEW YORK - Delaware 87ers guard Sean Kilpatrick was today named NBA Development League Performer of the Week for games played Monday, Nov. 23 - Sunday, Nov. 29. The honor is the first for Kilpatrick, who also becomes the first 87er to earn the award.

Kilpatrick (6-4, 219, Cincinnati) averaged 36.5 points on 58 percent shooting (24-for-43) from the field last week. He rounded out his week averaging 7.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 steals in two games, including a road victory over the Raptors 905 in Mississauga, Ontario. He connected on 11 of his 19 attempts (58 percent) from behind the arc and was a perfect 12-for-12 from the free throw line.

For the season, Kilpatrick is averaging 29.2 points, good for second best in the NBA D-League, to go with 4.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 37.2 minutes over five games. His 48 percent shooting from three-point territory tops the NBA D-League among players who have taken at least 40 threes.

Currently in his second year with the 87ers, Kilpatrick played in four NBA games last season with the Minnesota Timberwolves, averaging 5.5 points, 1.3 rebounds and 18.0 minutes following a GATORADE Call-Up from Delaware.

Other top performers considered include Austin's Cady Lalanne, Bakersfield's Earl Clark, Canton's Quinn Cook, Delaware's Jordan McRae, Iowa's Alex Stephenson, Los Angeles' Malcolm Thomas, Raptors' Delon Wright, Reno's Erick Green, Rio Grande Valley's Raphiael Putney, Santa Cruz's Elliot Williams and Sioux Falls' Jarnell Stokes.
