Golden State Warriors Announce 2015 NBA Summer League Roster

July 2, 2015 - NBA G League (G League)
Santa Cruz Warriors News Release

OAKLAND, Calif. - The Golden State Warriors have announced the team's roster and TV schedule for the 2015 Samsung NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. Warriors Assistant Coach Luke Walton will coach the team in Golden State's 10th summer in Vegas, which tips off on Friday, July 10.

In addition to the team's first round draft pick, Kevon Looney (30th overall), Golden State's roster features a pair of players who helped the Warriors to their first NBA championship in 40 years, Ognjen Kuzmic and James Michael McAdoo, as well as a pair of players who helped lead the Santa Cruz Warriors to the 2014-15 D-League title, Aaron Craft and Dominique Sutton.

Fresh off their first NBA championship since 1975, the Warriors will open the Summer League slate with an NBA Finals rematch against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday, July 10 (7:30 p.m.). Following the opener, Golden State's next two Summer League games will be broadcast locally for the first time ever on Comcast SportsNet Bay Area, which will air contests against the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday, July 12 (5:30 p.m.) and the Sacramento Kings on Monday, July 13 (3:30 p.m.). Additionally, all of Golden State's Summer League games can be heard on an audio-only stream on warriors.com and on the Warriors Mobile App.

Following those three preliminary round games, the NBA Summer League once again features a tournament-style schedule that will culminate in the crowning of an NBA Summer League Champion on Monday, July 20. Each team is guaranteed to play at least five games, with the two teams that reach the Championship Game playing as many as eight contests. The Warriors captured the inaugural Summer League Championship in 2013 and have amassed more wins at the annual event in Las Vegas than any other team, holding an all-time Vegas Summer League record of 31-16 (.660).

Tickets for the 2015 NBA Summer League are on sale and can be purchased by visiting NBATickets.com, a comprehensive online ticketing destination for NBA fans, or by calling 702-739-FANS. NBA TV will once again televise a full slate of NBA Summer League games and live game action will also extend across digital platforms.
