"Tag the Team" Hashtag Contest Starts Friday

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Jun. 24, 2015 - The Grand Rapids Drive announced today a "Tag the Team" Hashtag Contest starting Jun. 26 at 9:00 AM EST. Submissions for the contest will end Jul. 10 by 11 PM. Contest members are to submit their suggestions by visiting www.nbagrandrapids.com.

The Drive is running this contest to create a 2015-16 season motto that can be associated with the Drive brand. The team is looking to capitalize on the success that multiple NBA teams have had with the hashtags. Successful hashtags include #StrengthInNumbers Golden State Warriors, #ALLIN Cleveland Cavaliers and #WeTheNorth Toronto Raptors.

The Drive is asking participants to fill out a survey asking name, age, phone number, email as well as their hashtag suggestions. A max of five hashtag suggestions will be entered into the contest.

The winner of the "Tag the Team" Hashtag Contest will win one of the following; 2 Season Tickets, star in the introduction video before starting lineups, or be on the front cover of Drive program posing in their hashtag t-shirt.
