
Legends Swept by Blue

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK, (Feb. 22, 2015) - The Texas Legends were swept in a weekend series with the Oklahoma City Blue. The Legends hit the road Sunday to seek revenge after a tough Friday night loss, but were unable to click offensively tallying their lowest score of the season in an 82-95 defeat.
The Blue got off to a quick lead and never relinquished control. The home team took off to a 25-18 start, then smothered the Legends in the second holding them to 13 points and extending the lead to 12 at the half.
Oklahoma City's largest lead came in the final quarter as they went up 79-55 with a dunk from Marquis Teague to begin the fourth. The slam served as a call to action for the Legends who retaliated with a 27-8 run to cut the deficit to five with under three minutes on the clock. Eric Griffin's three-point shot at the 2:41 marker would be the last points for the Legends, allowing the Blue to grab the 13-point victory.
Renaldo Balkman (16 points, 14 rebounds) and Mike James (15 points, 10 assists) each added double-doubles to lead the Legends, while Booker Woodfox added another 15 points off the bench.
The Blue had six players in double-digits with Semaj Christon leading the way at 19. Maurice Sutton added the team's only double-double of 17 points, 10 rebounds.
