Omaha Storm Chasers News Release
OMAHA, Neb. - The Omaha Storm Chasers (76-67) ended the season on a high note, completing a five-game sweep of the Colorado Springs Sky Sox (53-91) with a 6-4 win in a curfew-shortened game. The sweep was the first five-gamer for Omaha in over ten years, as they pulled it off against Iowa in August of 2004, and propelled the Chasers to the American Conference North Division crown.
Omaha will now face the Memphis Redbirds (St. Louis Cardinals Triple-A affiliate) in the American Conference Championship at Werner Park. Omaha will host Games 1 and 2 of the series this Wednesday and Thursday, with both days having start times of 7:05 p.m., while Games 3-5 will be played at AutoZone Park in Memphis. During the 2014 season, the Storm Chasers and Redbirds split their 16 games at 8-8.
Fans can purchase the "Playoff Package", which includes a ticket to all five potential playoff games as the Chasers could host three games in the PCL Championship, online at https://www.ticketreturn.com/prod2/team.asp?SponsorID6029 or at the Werner Park Ticket Office at (402) 738-5100. Prices for the package are as follows: $85 for Club Seats, $65 for Field Box, $50 for Box, $45 for the AT&T Home Run Porch and $35 for the McDonald's Berm.
Advanced single game ticket pricing for the five potential games will be $17 for Club Seats, $13 for Field Box, $10 for Box, $9 for the AT&T Home Run Porch and $7 for the McDonald's Berm. Any ticket purchased for games not played will be good for a 2015 ticket, excluding Independence Day, special events and concert dates.
In the event that one or more of these playoff games are not played, the value of games not played may be applied to a 2015 Omaha Storm Chasers Ticket Package (Full Season, Half Season, 24 Game or 9-Game Mini Plan). No refunds will be issued for games not played or unused tickets.
