Tampa, FL - On Friday, August 15th the Tampa Yankees will hold their first annual Outdoors Night with a raffle/auction benefiting the Coastal Conservation Association as they host the Daytona Cubs at George M. Steinbrenner Field. Outdoors Night will be sponsored by The Westin Tampa Bay.
The CCA is a state-wide, non-profit organization working in an advocacy role to protect the state's marine resources & interests of saltwater anglers. The game starts at 7:00 pm & the gates will open to all fans at 6:00 pm.
Fans who arrive to the game wearing hunting camouflage shirts will receive $2 admission and those who arrive wearing a shirt representing the CCA will get in for free!
During the game, the Tampa Yankees will be raffling off various items including a membership to Shooter's World, a gift basket from D.O.A. Fishing Lures which includes a t-shirt, hat, box of lures & instructional video on fishing and range lessons & a gift certificate to Tampa Bay Sporting Clay & Archery.
Other common items are fishing bait & lures from Bass Assassin, two foursomes at Silver Dollar Golf Club & discounted stays at local hotels.
In addition to Outdoors Night, August 15th will also be Bill Currie Ford Social Media Friday. All of our social media fans will receive $2 admission if they check our Facebook, Twitter & Google + pages for a keyword to use at the box office upon arrival.
All fans will also be able to enjoy Select Drink Specials, $10 All-You-Can-Eat Chicken Wings on the Walgreens Deck & $1 small sodas at the Grill from 6-8:00 pm.
Tickets for Outdoors Night, as well as future Tampa Yankees games, can be purchased at the George M. Steinbrenner Field Box Office or through TicketMaster. Ticket prices start at $4 for General Admission and $6 for Reserved Seating.
