Illinois Piasa News Release

Glen Carbon, IL - Illinois Piasa and The Field Sports Complex are proud to announce their recent agreement that makes "The Field" the new home of Illinois Piasa.

The Piasa called this building home from 2008-2011. Back then it was called Soccer For Fun and was under different ownership; now it's called The Field Sports Complex, and the new owner Jose Delgado is very excited that the Piasa are coming to his venue.

"On behalf of The Field Sports Complex we are very pleased to welcome Piasa as our new home team. They will have our full support. As a new company this is a great achievement and we are very fortunate indeed of having them with us. Piasa and The Field Sports Complex will work together to reach a successful season." said Jose Delgado, Owner of The Field Sports Complex.

"We are excited to be returning to our old arena and are happy with the deal we reached with The Field and are looking forward to working with them. We enjoyed our time at the other place, but in the end, it just made more sense to move." said Illinois Piasa General Manager Matt Williams.

The Field Sports Complex is located at 4141 State Route 111 in Pontoon Beach, Illinois. In addition to being the home of Illinois Piasa, they run indoor soccer leagues year round, for all ages, and host a variety of local soccer tournaments. They are also available for practice rentals and birthday party rentals. Their website is www.thefieldsportscomplex.com and their phone number is (618) 219-1197.

Piasa will begin its quest for the PASL's coveted Ron Newman Cup the first weekend in November; the schedule is still to be announced. Other important information regarding open tryouts, season ticket sales, and the schedule will be released in the coming weeks. "There are some changes in store, but I can promise an exciting, fast, attacking style of soccer that is fun and affordable for the entire family. Start gearing up for Piasa season." said Matt Williams.
