Timber Rattlers Homestand Highlights for June 20-23, 2013

GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers open the second half of their 2013 schedule with a four game series that begins on Thursday, June 20. There may only be four games at Time Warner Cable Field at Fox Cities Stadium in this homestand, but there will be a game with no peanuts, a salute to a local industry, duck calls, camouflage, fireworks, giveaways, and lots of baseball!

Here are the details of all the events going on as the Timber Rattlers host the Cedar Rapids Kernels from June 20-23:

- THURSDAY, June 20 at 7:05pm; Arty's Old Fashioned Thirsty Thursday presented by 95.9 KISS FM; North Shore Bank Baseball Hat Giveaway; Peanut Free Night: There will be no peanuts in the stadium on this night to allow fans with peanut allergies to attend the Timber Rattlers game. Click here for more details on the Timber Rattlers fifth annual "Peanut Free" Night. The first 1,000 fans to attend this game will receive a Timber Rattlers baseball hat from North Shore Bank. Fans can enjoy 16oz soda, beer, or Arty's Old Fashioned drinks for just $2 as part of Thirsty Thursday presented by Arty's Old Fashioned and 95.9 KISS FM.

- FRIDAY, June 21 at 7:05pm; Salute to Paper; North Shore Bank Family Night w/ Y100; Postgame Kids Run the Bases presented by Molina Healthcare; Postgame Fireworks: The paper industry is very important to the Fox Valley and the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers want to honor paper in all of it textures and varieties. Be on the lookout for paper themed promotions and games. There is a Kimberly Clark Kleenex giveaway to the first 1,000 fans to attend this North Shore Bank Family night. Children 12 and under receive a free hot dog and soda as part of family night. Plus, kids 14 and under may participate in Kids Run the Bases thanks to Molina Healthcare after the postgame fireworks display.

- SATURDAY, June 22 at 6:35pm; Outdoors Night w/ Ducks Unlimited Duck Call Giveaway; Fly Away Saturday from Funjet Vacations and Fox World Travel; Autopilot Performances; FOX 11 Fireworks: The Timber Rattlers will wear woodland camouflage jerseys as part of Outdoors Night. Fans may bid on the jerseys as part of a silent auction during the game. Ducks Unlimited is giving away duck calls to the first 500 fans into the ballpark and All Things Jerky will have samples of their Jerky for Outdoors Night. One lucky fan will win airfare for two from Funjet Vacations and Fox World Travel at this game as part of Fly Away Saturday. Stick around after the game for a FOX 11 fireworks display.

- SUNDAY, June 23 at 1:05pm; Brewers Sunday presented by 107.5, The Fan; Ed Randall's Fans for the Cure Road Trip; Lamers Player Magnet Giveaway: Timber Rattlers players and coaches will be wearing Brewers-themed jerseys during the game. The jerseys will be up for auction after the final Brewers Sunday of the 2013 season on Sunday, August 25. The first 500 fans will receive the first in series of four magnets featuring current and former Timber Rattlers. The first player to be featured will be 2013 Midwest League All-Star Pitcher Damien Magnifico. Ed Randall's Fans for the Cure Baseball Road Trip makes its stop at the stadium to educate men and their loved ones about prostate cancer. Fans may play catch on-field before the game and get autographs from the players in a post-game autograph session. Also, Time Warner Cable customers can receive up to four half-priced reserved bleacher tickets when showing their TWC bill at time of ticket purchase.

Fans are urged to purchase their tickets for these games in advance one of three ways: On-line at www.timberrattlers.com, over the phone at 800-WI-TIMBER, or in person at the Time Warner Cable Field Box Office. The box office is located at Fox Cities Stadium and is open on non-game days from 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday and from 10am to 3pm on Saturdays.
