FC Kansas City Calls Up Three Players

OVERLAND PARK, Kan ¨C With both the U.S. and Canadian National Teams playing international friendlies, FC Kansas City has called up three amateur players to the full squad for this week¡¯s matches against the Chicago Red Stars. Jaime French, Natalie Norris, and Missy Geha have been training with the team since the beginning of the season.

#26 - Jaime (Orewiler) French

Position: Forward

Height: 5¡¯3¡±

Born: November 9, 1989

Hometown: Wheaton, IL College: Wheaton

Finished her four-year college career with 48 goals and 31 assists¡-her 127 career points ranks No. 6 in Wheaton history¡-ranks No. 6 in career goals and No. 8 in career assists.

#27 - Natalie Norris Position: Defender Height: 5'9" Born: September 23, 1990 Hometown: Sandy, Utah College: Utah State

At Utah State: WAC Defensive Player of the Year (2010, 2011), First Team All-WAC (2010, 2011), WAC All-Tournament Team (2010, 2011), Third-Team NSCAA Scholar All-American Team (2011), Academic All-WAC (2009, 2010,2011), Second-Team NSCAA All-West Region (2011), Third-Team NSCAA All-West Region (2010)

#28 - Missy Geha Position: Midfielder Height: 5¡¯6¡å Born: April 29, 1987 Hometown: Overland Park, KS College: Kansas

Missy provides color commentary for the online broadcasts of FC Kansas City¡¯s home matches. She grew up in Overland Park, KS just down the road from the home of FC Kansas City, Verizon Wireless Field.

High School - St. Thomas Aquinas HS: Three-time all-state selection ... Selected by Student Sports as one of the top 75 junior soccer players in the United States ... Named Gatorade's Soccer Player of the Year in 2004 for the state of Kansas

College - University of Kansas: 2005 (Freshman): 2005 All-Big 12 Newcomer Team ... Started all 20 matches of the season, named team¡¯s newcomer of the year. 2006 (Sophomore): Named All-Big 12 Second Team and Academic All-Big 12 Second Team. 2007 (Junior): Named to Academic All-Big 12 First Team. 2008 (Senior): Missy missed the entire first half of her senior season due to Mono. She returned to the field after missing nine games of competition. She led her to team to compete in the NCAA tournament.
