
Bighorns to Hold Basketball Camp June 10-13

Reno, Nev., May 2, 2013 - The Reno Bighorns will hold a summer basketball camp from Monday, June 10 to Thursday, June 13, the team announced today. Bighorns assistant coach and former Nevada star Garry Hill-Thomas will run the camp.
The camp will be held at the Alf Sorensen Community Center, located at 1400 Baring Boulevard in Sparks and will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day. It is open to kids, ages 6-16.
The cost to attend is $200 per camper and includes one endzone season ticket for the Bighorns 2013-14 season, a Bighorns t-shirt and certificate of participation. Awards will be given out for the camp MVP, best sportsmanship and the most improved camper.
Campers should bring a lunch/snacks, a water bottle and basketball attire.
"Coach Garry is perfect for developing our future Reno Bighorns players," said Bighorns owner, Herb Santos, Jr. "The camp will focus on teaching the fundamentals of basketball, including shooting, dribbling, passing, ball handling, rebounding and defense."
