
Inciarte Named Player of the Week

MOBILE, AL - Ender Inciarte has been named Southern League player of the week for the period from April 29 through May 5th. During that time the BayBears center fielder hit .526 (10-19) with two home runs, two doubles, three RBIs and three stolen bases.
The 22-year-old Maracaibo, Venezuela native is in his 6th season in professional baseball, and has amassed 506 career hits including 83 doubles and 24 triples. He is a career .284 hitter with 119 stolen bases.
Entering last week, Inciarte had five home runs in 476 career games. He hit two home runs in the five game series against the Huntsville Stars this past weekend at Hank Aaron Stadium.
Through 26 games in the 2013 season Inciarte is batting .320 with three doubles, two home runs, six RBIs and eight stolen bases. He leads the BayBears with 22 runs scored.
The BayBears begin a five game series in Chattanooga, TN on Tuesday night at 6:15 CT. They return home Sunday, May 12th to kick off a five game series with the Jacksonville Suns at 5:05 CT.
