BayBears Announce 2013 Roster

The BayBears roster features four of the top 12 prospects within the Diamondbacks organization, according to MLB.com -SS Nick Ahmed (7), P David Holmberg (9), P Zeke Spruill (10), P Anthony Meo (12). Ahmed and Spruill were acquired in the offseason trade that saw the departure of Justin Upton from the Arizona Diamondbacks to the Atlanta Braves.
This year the team will be lead by new Manager Andy Green, the former Manager of Missoula Osprey, the Rookie Advanced affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks. Last year Green lead the Osprey to the Pioneer League Championship.
Twelve players on the opening day roster were a part of the BayBears back-to-back title run in 2012, and they will look to make it a three peat in 2013.
