Flores, Ramirez & Turley Added to Yankees 40-Man Roster

Tampa, Fla. - The Tampa Yankees are proud to announce that OF Ramon Flores, RHP Jose Ramirez, and LHP Nik Turley have been added to the Yankees 40-man roster.

Ramon Flores, 20, spent the majority of the 2012 season with Single-A Tampa, batting .302 (156-for-517) with 83R, 29 doubles, 6HR and 39RBI in 131 games. He was promoted to Double-A Trenton on September 3 and appeared in one game, going 2-for-5 with 2R, 1HR and 2RBI. Flores was originally signed by the Yankees as a non-drafted free agent on July 4, 2008.

Jose Ramirez, 22, went 7-6 with a 3.19 ERA (98.2IP, 35ER) in 21 games (18 starts) with Single-A Tampa in 2012. Ramirez was originally signed by the Yankees as a non-drafted free agent on October 10, 2007.

Nik Turley, 23, spent the majority of the 2012 season with Single-A Tampa, going 9-5 with a 2.89 ERA (112.0IP, 36ER) and 116K in 23 games (21 starts). He was promoted to Double-A Trenton on September 3 and won his only start, allowing 3ER in 5.0IP. Turley was originally selected by the Yankees in the 50th round of the 2008 First-Year Player Draft.

LHP Manny Banuelos, RHP Brett Marshall, and LHP Francisco Rondon were also added to the Yankees 40-man roster.
