McGuire has spent most of his radio years on one of Canada's premiere country music stations. Also an experienced emcee and charity spokesperson, Mike is well known as a community-minded, fun-loving announcer who developed a loyal fan base which continues to follow him in the thousands by way of social media and video blogging. His video series was recently picked up by TopCountry.ca, and he still blogs regularly at www.mikeonamonday.com, with a new podcast launching in 2013.

McGuire recently joined Alberta's newest Country Music Station launching in the new year, 93.1 The One (serving the home of the Edmonton Rush's official training facility, the City of Leduc), Mike is extremely excited to also become a part of the Edmonton Rush family.

The 2012 Western Division Champions, Edmonton Rush will open the 2013 Season to Champions Cup on Sunday, January 13th against national rivals the Toronto Rock at 2:00 p.m. on Crystal Glass Field at Rexall Place.
