Denver Nuggets Assign Quincy Miller to NBA D-League Affiliate Iowa Energy

NEW YORK, Nov. 13, 2012 - The Denver Nuggets assigned rookie forward Quincy Miller to the Iowa Energy, the Nuggets' NBA Development League affiliate, it was announced today. The assignment is the first for Miller and the third overall of the 2012-13 NBA and NBA D-League seasons.
Miller (6-9, 210, Baylor) was selected in the second round, 38th overall, by the Nuggets in the 2012 NBA Draft and has yet to see action for Denver this season.
In 37 games, 35 starts, for Baylor last season as a freshman, Miller averaged 10.6 points, 4.9 rebounds and 24.4 minutes. For his efforts, the Big 12 coaches named him Big 12 Co-Freshman of the Year and to the Big-12 All-Rookie team while he was named Big 12 Freshman of the Year by The Sporting News.
Miller is expected to join the Energy, who's season tips off on November 24 against the Sioux Falls Skyforce, today.
