
$2000 Fine for PEI and Chicoutimi

BOUCHERVILLE, Friday October 26, 2012 - The Director of Player Safety of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, Raymond Bolduc, handed out 2 000$ fines to both PEI Rocket and Chicoutimi Saguenéens organizations following an incident that occurred yesterday at PEI.
Furthermore, Gabriel Gagnon, the Chicoutimi Saguenéens forward, was suspended for two games for charging the PEI goaltender.
The Director of Player Safety took this decision after having viewed video of the incident, considered the officials report, spoken to the organizations involved and consulted with his senior advisor, Sébastien Bordeleau.
