Reno Bighorns News Release
RENO, NEV., October 4, 2012 - The Reno Bighorns will be counting down to Opening Night with a new prize promotion, the team announced today. "55 Days of Bighorns" will start this Saturday, October 6, exactly 55 days from the start of the Bighorns fifth season in Reno on November 30.
Starting this Saturday, and continuing each day until Opening Night, the Bighorns will announce a new prize on their Facebook page that fans can win at the first game. The prizes will come from all areas, including Bighorns' affiliates and sponsors.
"We want to provide another fun aspect for our fans, as well as additional recognition to our supporters," said Bighorns president Mike Reynolds. "This is a great way not only to have our sponsors promote their business, but also give back to our season ticket holders and fans."
Fans must be present on Opening Night to win. Each fan in attendance will receive a raffle ticket when they enter the arena, and drawings for the prizes will take place throughout the game.
Fans have the chance to win Bighorns V.I.P. packages, as well as prizes from their NBA affiliates, the Kings, Grizzlies and Jazz.
"We want to start our season off with a bang, and create the fun, family-friendly atmosphere our fans can expect from every Bighorns game," said Reynolds.
Season tickets and group tickets are on sale today. Fans can call the front office at 775-284-2NBA for more information.
