INDIANAPOLIS-Indiana Ice regular season action continues on Friday when they host Team USA from Pan Am Plaza at 7:05 pm before hitting the road against conference rival Muskegon Lumberjacks on Saturday.Indy is coming off an exciting home-opening win on Saturday as Dalton Izyk stopped 18 shots on net to lead the Ice to a 2-0 victory over the Omaha Lancers. Brian Morgan and Austin Ortega both lit the lamp for Indy while Izyk logged the league's first shutout of the 2012-2013 season.
Friday will be the first of nine meetings between the Ice and Team USA after the USHL expanded to a 64-game schedule this season. The Ice posted an impressive 6-0-2 record against the squad last season with Drew Smolcynski (G, 4A) leading all returning skaters in scoring.
Indiana takes to the road Saturday against the Muskegon Lumberjacks for the first of six consecutive road games. Hockey returns to the "Circle City" on Saturday, October 20 when the Ice faceoff with the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders from Pan Am Plaza at 7:05 pm.
Indy opens the Bankers Life Fieldhouse portion of their schedule on Friday, November 9 against the defending Clark Cup Champion Green Bay Gamblers. The game is slated to begin at 7:05 pm and is presented by BMO Harris Bank.
Single-game tickets start at $11 for Bankers Life Fieldhouse games and general admission tickets for Pan Am Plaza games are $10. There is a $2 discount for children 10 and under and seniors 62 and over. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster by calling 1-800-745-3000, online at ticketmaster.com or by visiting select Wal-Mart and Simon Mall locations and the Bankers Life Fieldhouse box office.
