Bighorns Set Reno Tryout Dates

RENO, NEV., September 7, 2012 - The Reno Bighorns will hold open tryouts for the 2012-13 season on October 20-21 at the South Reno Athletic Club in Reno.

The Reno tryouts will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 20 at the South Reno Athletic Club, located at 9393 Gateway Drive. They will continue on Sunday, October 21 at 10 a.m. and go until 2 p.m.

The tryout in Reno is on the last day Development league teams can schedule open tryouts, making it one of the last opportunities for players to be seen by D-League coaches.

Paul Mokeski, the Bighorns' head coach and former NBA player, will be conducting both tryouts.

Anyone who would like to try out is encouraged to fill out the online registration form, which can be found at www.renobighorns.com. The cost to try out is $150. Participants must be 18 years old to try out.

The Bighorns are holding open tryouts in Sacramento at the Kings' practice facility on September 14-15 and also in Memphis, Tenn. at the Memphis Grizzles' practice facility on September 22-23.
