
MLS Disciplinary Committee Suspends and Fines Vancouver Whitecaps FC Midfielder Barry Robson

NEW YORK (August 18, 2012) - The MLS Disciplinary Committee has suspended Vancouver Whitecaps FC midfielder Barry Robson one game and fined him an undisclosed amount for aggravated dissent against an assistant referee in stoppage time of his team's 2-0 loss to FC Dallas on Wednesday, Aug. 15.
Robson will serve his suspension today when the Whitecaps travel to face Seattle Sounders FC at 4 p.m. ET.
Fines collected will be donated to the charitable partners of MLS W.O.R.K.S. and the MLS Players Union.
