
Stars Lose Opener With Blue Wahoos

A day after being on the right side of a combined no-hitter, the Huntsville Stars fell to the Pensacola Blue Wahoos by a score of 8-5 in their series opener on Friday night at Joe Davis Stadium. Starting pitcher Johnnie Lowe took the loss, falling to 1-2 on the year after giving up four runs (two earned) on six hits while striking out seven batters. On offense, the Stars got three hits apiece from shortstop Jean Segura and catcher Adam Weisenburger. For Segura, he is now 10-for-22 at the plate in six games sporting a Huntsville Stars uniform.
Game two of a five-game series will take place on Saturday. First pitch is at 6:43 PM.
