Moniz Voted Week 20 National Guard MVP

CHICAGO - Georgia Force QB BRYANT MONIZ has been named National Guard MVP of the Week for his performance in Week 20 of the AFL season, as voted on by fans.Moniz (6-0, 215, Hawaii) accounted for five total touchdowns in Georgia's playoff clinching win over the New Orleans VooDoo in Week 20. Moniz completed 17-of-36 passes for 175 yards and two scores, while tying a single-game franchise record with three rushing touchdowns.
Other candidates for the award included Arizona Rattlers QB Nick Davila and Jacksonville Sharks QB Bernard Morris.
The Force (9-9) face the Jacksonville Sharks (10-8) in the opening round of the 2012 AFL playoffs on Saturday, July 28. The game can be seen at www.ustream.tv/afl. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. ET.
