New Orleans VooDoo News Release

NEW ORLEANS (July 4, 2012) - Earlier this week, we sat down with New Orleans VooDoo Doll Mallory for this week's "21 Questions with a VooDoo Doll" segment brought to you by Arata and Arata Law Offices. Mallory is in her first season as a VooDoo Doll. Each and every game week, a VooDoo Doll will be featured, and this is the 16th installment of the 2012 season.

Favorite dipping sauce:

Ranch, especially with pizza! But, if there's something I do not like, I'll just dip it in ranch and it makes everything better!

Favorite female celebrity and why:

My favorite celebrity is Jennifer Anniston. She never seems to give up even though the tabloids seem to always talk bad about her.

Best thing about being a VooDoo Doll:

The best thing is constantly being around an awesome group of ladies. I have made some great friends on this team!

If you could hang out with any Kardashian, who it would be and why:

Khloe. I adore her. I think she is the most down to earth one out of all of them!

If you could have one super power, what would it be and why:

To fly. I hate traffic, and living in New Orleans comes with a lot of traffic. If I could fly, I would never have to worry about traffic.

Team Edward or Team Jacob:

Team Jacob!!! He's sexy!

Do you have a nickname and how did you get that nickname:

Unfortunately, my so called 'great' friends call me Malcow. I'm not sure if it's because I resemble a cow or just eat a lot. But, they have been calling me this since I was in high school, and now, I'm just used to it. Every year for Christmas my boyfriend will buy me some type of gag gift that deals with a cow. However, do not plan on calling me this! I was just letting you know.

What is your ideal first date:

I think a good first date doesn't have to involve a 'typical dinner and a movie.' It is important that the date include time to get to know each other like going for a brunch and getting to know one another. Then, go do an activity you all both enjoy, like going to a carnival.

What advice would you give to young girls:

Just to be yourself and be the best that you can be. There's no reason to be fake just to fit in. I promise you will find a friend or boyfriend who will love you for the REAL you! Also, never stop trying and never giving up. What doesn't kill you will make you stronger.

Nobody knows how much you like to:

Sing at the top of my lungs. When I'm in the car by myself, most of the time I put on a song and scream it at the top of my lungs pretending like I sound just like the artist.

Favorite Real Housewives series and why:

My favorite is the OC housewives! For starters, they are the first housewives of Bravo and I love each one of them. My favorite housewife will probably be Tamara. She doesn't care what people think about her and that is inspiring.

Favorite Mardi Gras parade or ball:

My all-time favorite parade will have to be Orpheus! This parade has the most decked out floats. My favorite float is called the dragon and it is literally 3-4 floats long. This is the only float where you can catch the awesome dragon stuffed animal. Every time I catch one, I feel like a little kid again!

How many years have you been dancing:

I have been dancing since I was three years old! I learned all my skills from Carolyn Diecidue Dance Academy! Throughout high school, I was an Archbishop Shaw Eaglette. I have so many awesome high school memories from this dance team!

Text or phone call kind of girl:

I am definitely a 'stay on the phone all day' type of girl! I hate texting, it's way easier to talk on the phone with someone rather than text. I'm too lazy to type everything I have to say, when it comes to texting.

Favorite video on YouTube.com:

The Sneezing Panda Baby! I love this video, every time I watch it I die laughing!! I'm a huge animal lover.

Ultimate dancing highlight:

The year that I graduated from my dancing school, I had to perform a solo in front of everyone at the recital. I remember being so nervous. Once I got on the stage, I forgot about how nervous I was and just had the time of my life.

Your biggest guilty pleasure:

I LOVE the cake pops from Starbucks!!! Even though the price is kind of high, it is totally worth it!

N'Sync or Backstreet Boys (and don't lie and say you didn't have a favorite):

I used to be obsessed with N'Sync! I still love them! I can remember like it was yesterday, when I first saw them in concert, I think I was like 10! "Baby Bye Bye Bye, Bye Bye!"

Favorite part about Preauxs versus Jeauxs:

My favorite part of the game was playing flag football with all of the dolls. It was the first time we all made an appearance together. It was a great bonding experience!

If you were stranded on an island in the middle of the ocean, what 3 things could you not live without:

I couldn't live without my iPod, a blanket, because I'm always cold and Peanut M&M's

Favorite clothing store:

My favorite clothing store is Plato's Closet. This store will buy clothes from you as long as they are in-style and in good condition. They sell their clothes for a very low price and it is all clothing items that are still in style.
